The Provincial Nominee Program allows participating provinces and territories to nominate people who have the skills, education, and work experience their economies need and who intend to live in the nominating region. Each jurisdiction sets its own streams, eligibility criteria, and annual nomination capacity.
Examples of provincial nominee streams
Participating provinces and territories design streams around local labour-market and economic priorities. Quebec runs separate immigration programmes, and Nunavut does not operate a PNP.
